Philadelphia, PA | Camden, NJ native Christopher Gary Simmons is a humble Temple University graduate with a bachelor’s in English literature, an honored Villanova MBA graduate and now UPenn staff member. His appreciation for writing and lyrics knows no bounds. Raised in a golden era of hip-hop on artists like Public Enemy, The Roots, De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, Nas, 2Pac, Big and others.

His love of lyrics was born from loving stories. His goal, in his words is to… “God willing, develop a series of Shakespeare adaptations, with his next project being the conclusion of Hip-Hop Verse Shakespeare’s Othello “When the Knight Fell” V.2 Clear Falls. He sees it as a journey of crossing paths made for artists and audiences to share and enjoy together.
